My name is Jennifer Gray. I'm currently working with www.whatmiami.com as well as their sister site www.whatlauderdale.com.  I cover a lot of events. I'm a sharp shooter. I've worked as a Makeup Artist for about 6 years before I made the jump to photography. I specialize in nightlife and entertainment photography, though my heart leaps from my chest for glamour! I photograph lots of DJ's, musicians and celebrities.  I pride myself on shooting for the moment. The environment I work in requires it!
Working in nightlife and entertainment is like this...
I have the best lighting money can buy, but it moves.
I've got some of the hottest models in the country, but they are drunk and dancing.
I've got a million dollar background, but it's vibrates.
And a thousands extras I never invited to my set!
A tri is out of the question!
And I get stepped on A LOT!
Working in a nightclub is absolutely unforgiving. My job is as long as an artist performs. I hate to use my flash; televised media usually doesn't allow it anyway! I enjoy working with film; I take a few rolls on all my shoots. I work on almost any project. My port is very versatile. My rates and schedule are reasonable; I'm a full package deal. Makeup, photography, styling, art directing, anything!

Bio as published in LOS Magazine 2007

Jennifer Gray born in Miami has always had a deep desire to create, with sincere passion for the arts. She discovered her love and talent for make-up and painting at a young age and trained herself. Her work style ranges from painting, sculpting and, airbrushing, to makeup and photography, the two that seem to catch everyone’s eye. Her career in the industry began with make-up. Resulting in work being published in magazines such as, Billboard Magazine, Maxim, Vogue, Glamour, and international ads in clothing catalogs.

In 2007 Jennifer launched www.jenspirit.com an online portfolio of her work and future events, to support Jen’s newest project a non-profit organization to preserve art programs in the U.S. A cause she holds so dearly, she plans to auction off her works to donate the proceeds to art programs in American schools. Hoping to create an impressionable future for generations of artist to come. Prior to attending college She had only taken one formal art class and found it to be one of the most satisfying events in her life. It is where she learned to sculpt and emulate classic art, yet the training had come too late to make much of an impact. She hopes her efforts will improve the conditions and availability to artistic outlets for children in the future.
